Description
Riesling by its nature is a vine that loves the cooler and breezy areas where these grapes manage to develop elegant aromas and intense flavours while always maintaining a high level of acidity. From the family’s passion for this great grape and the desire to interpret it in the terroir of the vineyard Montevecchio, at 470 m above sea level with north-east exposure, a wine with fruity citrus aromas is born. It has notes of hawthorn, jasmine, wisteria and camomile. The minerality of this wine distinguishes the particular nature of this severe terroir. Ageing in the bottle, which can last for many years, Montis Vetuli Riesling develops the particular aromatic background of hydrocarbons, very pleasant in its context. Excellent with fish, molluscs (scallops) and crustaceans thanks to the mineral notes that blend harmoniously with the iodized flavours of the fish. The pairing is great with poultry, white meats and goat cheeses.
